Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Wants Gender Option To Stay

By  |

The new Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game will be somewhat different from the Assassin’s Creed game that we have had so far. Not only will it give the players more freedom and control over the game but they are also allowing the fans to choose their own gender. While it is not something new, it is nice to see more games offering these options.

According to Ubisoft Quebec, they are hoping that games developed by them in the future would also offer players this kind of choice. Scott Phillips, the game director added that it did not make sense if they go back from here.

Of course, this is not the first time the Assassin’s Creed franchise had a female protagonist. In Syndicate, players could choose to play as Evie Frye but this time, players can actually choose to play as a female right from the start.

Choosing Alexios or Kassandra won’t affect the story. The new game will be arriving on the 5th of October on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
