Apple iPhone XS & XS Max Battery Test Not Promising

By  |

Short battery life seems to be an issue that has been plaguing Apple users since the start and it does not look like it will get better with the new Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

The new iPhones were brought in for testing by Tom’s Guide and according to the report, the new iPhone models died faster than the iPhone X that Apple released last year in the endurance test. This test is where they use the web continuously using the 4G connection with the display brightness set at 150nits and auto-brightness and TrueTone turned off.

The Apple iPhone XS Max manage to hold on for 10 hours and 38 minutes while the Apple iPhone XS only lasted 9 hours and 41 minutes. The iPhone X lasted 10 hours and 49 minutes last year. This is surprising since the new Apple iPhone XS Max was fitted with a 3174mAh battery which is much larger than the 2716mAh battery that the iPhone X had.
