Android Go From Samsung Leaked, What We Know Now

There were already talks about Samsung working on a low-cost model for some of their markets and now it looks like we might have been given a clue as to how the device will look like when it arrives.

The device with the model number SM-260 which many believe is Samsung’s first Android Go device. From what we can make out, it looks like Samsung will not be using stock Android which suggests that any partner of Google can choose to use their own software overlay after all.

Besides some of the Google “lite’ apps, the leaked images also showed us a few of Samsung’s own apps like Gallery, Messages, Phone, Radio, Samsung Max and more. It is also believed that the device will be coming in with a 5inch Super AMOLED display screen with an Exynos 7570 processor with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The device will also be fitted with an 8mp and 5mp camera and will be powered by a 2600mAh battery pack.

No word on when the device will be released.
