Android 7.1 Nougat Created Havoc For Nexus 6P Users

By  |

When the Google Pixel devices came onto the market Google turned their back on the Nexus handsets. One of the first signs of this was when the Nougat update didn’t come out for the Nexus handsets in a timely manner.

When the update to Android Nougat didn’t come at all with support for Daydream VR for the Nexus handsets, things got a lot worse for owners of the device. The feature was said to have been removed manually by Google and they said that they were doing it for the good of the users.

They said that giving Daydream VR support to owners of the Nexus wouldn’t be good as the handset isn’t capable of being able to run VR smoothly. So missing it out was a good thing for owners.

The Nexus 6P has now reached an all-time low as many owners have been reporting that following updating to Android 7.1 Nougat, their handset has been stuck in the boot loop. This means that they cannot use their device at all.

Google doesn’t seem to be in any rush to hand out an OTA update to fix the issue and this has left owners having to take their device to the support centre to get it fixed.
