Android 7.0 Nougat Is A Sticky Mess

By  |

We are hearing that Android N is going to be launched in May but what does the N stand for? Could it be Android 7.0 Nougat or perhaps Nutella or something else? At the moment Android N is just a sticky mess when it comes to names.

People have been speculating that the N may related to Nougat, Nutella or Nachos. In fact it could be just about anything sweet and sticky related. We have in the past had names such as Jelly Bean, Lollipop, Marshmallow and Cupcake, so really things are wide open for Android 7.0 N. We quite like Android 7.0 Nougat though but what do you think?

Many phones still haven’t received the update to Marshmallow and here we are talking about Android 7.0 Nougat or whatever it is going to be called. It is thought that a new Nexus handset is going to be coming and some owners have been given notifications that they will be updated to Android N.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is expected in July and it is thought that it will arrive with the Android N installed. Other devices said to be getting it include the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Note 5, Note 4, S6 and S6 duoes.

Android 7.0 Nutella is said to be offering plenty of new features. These are said to include direct-reply notifications, bundled notifications, multi-window UI and improvements to doze.

At the moment Android N is in the final stages of development and it is going to be revealed at the Google I/O conference May. Where we will find out whether it will be Android 7.0 Nutella, Nougat, Nachos or something else.
