Porsche has made it clear that they are looking to offer more electric-powered vehicles soon. The first model we will be seeing is the Porsche Taycan which will be coming in next year but it looks like we might see the Porsche Macan join Taycan soon.

According to Automotive News, the Porsche Taycan could be followed by a battery-powered SUV model by 2020 and that the SUV would most likely be the Porsche Macan since the Macan is in need of a replacement model soon.

Of course, it was also added that nothing has been approved yet but this could be what Porsche is looking to do in the near future. The report added that the combustion-engine and pure=electric models will overlap for a few years but they will slowly be including more models in their electric plans.

It was previously revealed that the 911 would also get a hybrid technology in the future.
