BMW was at the Paris Motor Show where they announced the BMW i4. The vehicle will be coming in as the fifth fully electric core vehicle from BMW. This will join the BMW i3, 2019 Mini Electric, BMW iX3 as well as the iNext concept which will spawn a production version that will be coming in 2021.

While they did show off the vehicle, they did not reveal many details about the model. Based on the previous concept revealed, we knew that the concept would only need four seconds to go from 0-62mph and has a top speed of 120mph and a range of 373miles.

According to BMW’S e-mobility roadmap, Gen 5 electric vehicles would be fitted with modular battery packs with capacities of 60kWh, 90kWh and 120kWh. Hopefully, more details about the upcoming BMW i4 will be revealed soon.

BMW revealed that there are now more than 300,000 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles on the road produced by BMW or MINI.
