There were speculations that BMW might have given up on the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer but it looks like we might have jumped the gun on that as the vehicle was spotted getting tested out in the open this week.
The vehicle was heavily camouflaged which means most of the design is hidden behind the stickers but what we can see is that it will look sportier than before. In the front sits a larger grille now. The front end also appears to be taller which will help gove the model a more crossover-like design.
In the back, the vehicle will be keepings its rakish windows along with the tailgate-mounted spoiler and slimmer taillights. The new model is said to be riding on the UKL platform which could grow in size. No word on what engine we will be seeing this time around.
On the inside, it was reported that the dual-display setup seen on the iNext concept could be makings its way to the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer as well.
