2020 Volkswagen Tiguan Price Hike Not Justified?

The order guide for the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan has been leaked and it was revealed that the 2020 model will now cost a few hundred more but what will you be getting in return.

The Tiguan base model will now be getting the automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and rear cross-traffic alert as standard features so customers will no longer need to pay for the Driver Assistance Package but do take note that the 2020 model will cost $650 more now.

The SE trim, on the other hand, will be getting the R-Line Black version which will come with a panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, fog lights, 20inch black wheels, R-Line badges, black headliner and more. The SEL trim will be fitted with heated steering wheel, auto dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wiper and more.

Powering it will be the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that will be offering about 180hp and 221lb ft of torque.
