We have already seen what Toyota will be offering on their Corolla hatchback while the sedan is still a mystery but the vehicle was spotted out in the open with fewer camo stickers on.

Based on what we could make out, it looks like the Toyota Corolla will be getting a design upgrade to look similar to the hatchback model. Features like the headlights match what we have seen on the hatchback model which is only to be expected since both models will be riding on the THGA modular platform.

However, separating the sedan and hatch will not be that difficult, besides the obvious difference in shape, the sedan will also get a small grille in the front. The test vehicle looks close to ready which means we might see the actual production model soon.

The Toyota Corolla sedan is expected to come with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that will most likely be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
