2020 Subaru Legacy Updates Won’t Matter As CVT Makes A Return

By  |

We are learning more and more about the upcoming 2020 Subaru Legacy and while most people seem happy with all the upgrades that Subaru plans to offer, the transmission might still cost them.

Taking into consideration the fact that sedan models are slowly losing their appeal now, Subaru will have to give their customers everything they have to offer to convince them to consider the Legacy. The 7th gen Subaru Legacy will be coming with a new exterior design that is actually attractive.

On the inside, the Legacy will be getting more interior space along with standard features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, EyeSight driver assistant system, and active driver aids like Lane Keep Assist, Pre-collision throttle management, lead vehicle start alert and more.

Under the hood will be the 2.5-litre FB25 engine and the 2.4-litre turbo FA24DIT engine that will be offering about 260hp when it arrives. These engines will most likely get the CVT transmission. Although we do not know for sure, some poeple are already saying that the CVT will be a huge turn off for them.
