2020 Peugeot 308 Will Be All-New, Electrifying Future Ahead

By  |

Although the current Peugeot 308 was given an update last year, the model itself is a pretty old model and fans are looking forward to seeing what Peugeot will have to offer on the new model.

Luckily, the wait for the new model won’t be that long as it was reported that Peugeot is already working on a new Peugeot 308 model right now and that the new model will be arriving in 2020.

Caradisiac reported that the vehicle will be coming with three body styles, hatchback, sedan, and estate. The design will be based on the 3008 and 508 model and it will be riding on the EMP2 platform.

We still do not have the details on the engine but it is believed that we might see the 1.5-liter BlueHDi diesel engine that might come with an eight-speed auto transmission or a manual transmission option.

There were also speculations that the 308 GT and 308 GTi might be getting some electric engine option as well. Hopefully, more details will come our way soon.
