2020 Mazda CX-5: Gets Price Hike After Engine Update

The 2020 Mazda CX-5 will be coming in with a few more upgrades but that will also mean that it will come with a new price tag as well.

One of the major upgrades will be the engine. While it will be keeping the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the updated version will be offering 320lb ft of torque now instead of 310lb ft of torque. The horsepower will remain at 250hp. It was also revealed that it will be getting a new Engine Harmonics Enhancer which will improve the sound of the engine.

On top of that, the CX-5 will also be fitted with off-road traction assist feature along with an improved NVH giving it a more premium ride. The 2020 model will all be getting the i-Activesense safety feature as standard as well which will include features like the adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and more.

With all the upgrades, the 2020 Mazda CX-5 will be offered at a slightly higher price tag now with the base model starting off from $26,135 while the Signature trim will be offered for $38,100.
