The Mazda CX-30 will be heading to Europe with three engine options available but it looks like those living in the US will only have one option to choose from as Mazda announce that spec for Mexico.
According to Mazda, the CX-30 will arrive in Mexico with the SkyActiv-G 2.5 liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine being the only engine option available. The engine will be offering about 187hp and 186lb ft of torque.
We know that the CX-30 that is heading to US and Canada will come from the Salamanca Plant in Mexico which means we might also be offered the same option here. This would not come as a surprise since the Mazda 3 sedan is also offered with only one engine option here in NA.
While we won’t get to choose the engine, the base model will come fitted with plenty of features including seven airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, cruise control, rear parking sensors, dynamic stability control, tire pressure monitoring and more. The 18inch alloy wheels, sunroof and more will also be offered as standard.
