2020 Kia Telluride Too Futuristic For Its Own Good?

By  |

Instead of debuting their 2020 Kia Telluride at one of the many auto shows that we have, Kia decided to show off their new Kia Telluride at the New York Fashion Week instead. It was later revealed at that it was all because Brandon Maxwell, the fashion designer got Kia to donate to his childhood school district as part of the deal to showcase the vehicle at the show.

The vehicle at the fashion show was customized to blend in with his fashion line for spring and summer. Kia fitted on some distracting features like the off-road bumpers, skid plates, ladder, and spare tires but we could still see the production version underneath it all.

Although Kia had hit the jackpot with a few of their newer models in terms of design it looks like the new Kia Telluride was not a hit. However, others are saying that the consumers are just not used to the design and will eventually love what they have to offer once all their rivals start offering something similar.

What do you think? Did Kia go overboard with their design?
