We know that Jeep has invested a lot to create the engine for the Jeep Renegade PHEV and now it was revealed that we will be seeing the plug-in hybrid model in 2020.

According to the reports, the 2020 Jeep Renegade PHEV will be produced at the Melfi Plant in Italy, the same plant that is working on the ICE powered Renegade and Fiat 500X. Jeep has already spent about $230 million to prepare the plant for the Renegade PHEV.

No details were released but the first pre-production models of the vehicle will be out next year. The Jeep Renegade was also given a new front and rear fascia this year and now comes with a few wheel options and a few major updates on the inside. Jeep also made some changes to the engine lineup.

The 2019 Jeep Renegade is offered in Europe with a $25,799 price tag.
