At this point, we still do not know what to expect from the 2020 Jaguar F-Type yet and although Jaguar does not have a plan in place for the Jaguar F-Type yet, they still think that a redesigned model could be arriving in 2020.

According to Car Magazine, the F-Type replacement will remain a front-engine model instead of a mid-engine model as so many people have speculated. They also added that the vehicle will come ruing on an aluminum architecture called the D7b evolution.

It is also believed we will be seeing both the coupe and convertible variants and that we will see if getting fitted with the twin-turbo 4.4 liters V8 engine from BMW. The engine will come in to take the place of the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that will be offering about 560hp.

Previous rumors did suggest that Jaguar is looking to get rid of the V8 engine but it looks like they might just be changing things up.
