The 2020 Ford Explorer will be coming in with quite a few updates and while we will have to wait until LA for the official debut, here are some of the details that we know right now.

The 2020 Ford Explorer will be coming as a new model even though it won’t look like it. Ford will be keeping a lot of its design features. It will also be getting a few upgrades like LED headlights, bumper, grille and more.

The vehicle will come riding on the CDR rear-drive architecture with a longitudinally mounted engine. Powering it is a 2.3-liter turbo four engines. Other options include the 3.3 liter V6, 3.3 liter V6 hybrid, and 3.0 liter V6 Ecoboost. The engines will come mated to a 10-speed auto transmission.

We should be seeing the Ford Explorer at the LA Auto Show this year before it makes its way to the dealers early next year.
