2020 Buick Regal Will Be The Last For Buick’s Sedan For The Time Being

Some automakers have chosen to put their sedans aside and focus on crossovers, SUVs, and trucks and it looks like that will be a route that Buick will also be taking as the automaker announced that they will be killing off the 2020 Buick Regal.

According to Motor Authority, Buick feels that the demand for crossover and SUVs is higher now and that 90% of their sales now come from high-riding vehicles which mean it is time to focus on those and put the sedans like the Regal aside for now.

The current Buick Regal is being offered in the GS and TourX wagon configuration and has been described as some of the best looking Buick in a long time so it will still be a pity to see it go like that.

Ending the Regal will also allow Buick to cut ties with Opel which now belongs to Peugeot.
