2020 Buick Encore GX Will Add To Growing SUV List

Buick currently already has a few SUVs to offer but they are not looking to stop there as the automaker announced the debut date for the 2020 Buick Encore GX model.

The new SUV will come in to sit in between the Buick Encore and the Buick Enclave. It will be offered in both the all-wheel and front-wheel drive options. Customers will also be offered the Sport Touring package which will come with exterior upgrades like the front grille, rear fascia, and wheels.

Powering it will be the 1.2 liters turbocharged three-cylinder engine that will be offering about 137hp. There is also the 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that will be offering about 155hp. The engine will be mated to a CVT but there is also a nine-speed automatic transmission option for the AWD model.

Driver assistance features that will be offered as standard including the Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and more.

According to Buick, the Encore GX will be makings its debut at the LA Auto Show.
