2019 Volvo V60 Cross Country: Volvo Not Giving Up!

By  |

With automakers now focusing more on crossover models, you would think that they would start abandoning some of the models but it looks like Volvo is not ready to give up on their long-roof models yet.

Volvo took the covers off their Volvo V60 Cross Country model. This vehicle will come in with a lifted suspension that would allow the V60 Cross Country to sit 3 inches taller than the V60 wagon model.

Under the hood is a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four engine. There were talks about the vehicle getting a mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid model in the future. The vehicle will be offered with an all-wheel-drive along with features like hill-descent control and off-road driving mode.

While the exterior was given some major changes, the interior matches what we have seen on the wagon. Safety features like the run-off road mitigation, oncoming lane mitigation and cross traffic alert will all be offered as standard safety features.
