By  |

When it comes to new models, most of us would expect it to come with new features and tech and that usually means that the vehicle will also come with a slightly bigger price tag but in the case of the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, it is actually cheaper although only by a little.

The Volkswagen Jetta base model will now come with a six-speed manual transmission. It will also be fitted with an LED headlights, taillights, alloy wheels, automatic lights, rearview camera, Bluetooth, 6.5-inch touchscreen and more.

Volkswagen did remove the independent multilink rear suspension in favor of the torsion-beam rear suspension. The 1.8-liter turbo engine will also be removed which means the only option now is the 1.4-liter turbocharged engine.

The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta will be arriving in the second quarter this year with the base price starting from $19,395. The top of the range model will retail for $27,795.
