2019 Toyota Supra Engine Rumor Angers Fans

By  |

Toyota has revealed some details about the 2019 Toyota Supra model including the fact that the vehicle will be coming in with a straight-six engine but it looks like that is not the engine that Toyota plans to offer.

According to Road & Track, the upcoming Toyota Supra might also be coming in with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine option. The engine will offer about 262hp which is much lower than the 335hp that the six cylinders would offer.

This suggests that Toyota might be planning to also offer a less expensive version of the Supra which you would think would make the fans happy but that is far from what is happening as the fans made it clear that Toyota would be running the Supra if they choose to do so.

Many of them feel like even with a more affordable price tag, the Toyota Supra with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine would still be more expensive than models like the ZL1 Camaro and nobody would really bother to get one. Of course, we do not know if this is true or not so it would be best to take it with a pinch of salt for now.
