2019 SsangYong Korando: Is It Worth Considering?

SsangYong might not be as popular as the other two Korean automakers but they are still trying their best. The latest announcement from them was for the updated 2019 SsangYong. Here is what we know right now.

The 2019 model was given an updated exterior design and will come powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that will be offering about 161hp and 207lb ft of torque. There is also a diesel engine option which will be offering about 134hp and 239lb ft of torque. The engines will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission but the six-speed automatic transmission will also be offered as an option.

For those that opt to get the top of the range Ultimate trim model, the vehicle will come with additional features like the 9inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and more safety features.

The SsangYong Korando will be coming in to take on models like the Kia Sportage, Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Tuscon and more.
