Seat has released more details about their next crossover models and here is what we have to know about the upcoming model called the Seat Tarraco.

The new Seat Tarraco will be riding on the new MQB platform which means it will have a size that is similar to the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq. The prototype spotted in Nurburgring was fitted with production lights and Seat’s signature grille. There are also images of the interior showing us the floating-style infotainment system.

The Tarraco will be coming with both petrol and diesel engine options including a 123hp and 148hp version of the 1.4-liter TSI engine and the 177hp and 217hp version of the 2.0 liter TSI. The diesel-powered models will be getting the 148hp, 187hp and 237hp version of the 2.0 liter TDI engine.

No word on when the vehicle will be announced or release but the new Seat Tarraco will be coming in to compete with models like the Nissan X-Trail and the Renault Koleos.
