2019 Ram 1500 Classic: Oldie Still A Goodie

By  |

As much as we liked the older version of the Ram 1500, it is still the older version and compared to the new 2019 Ram 1500 that Ram has just released, it is definitely the least appealing option but not if you take into consideration all the money you will be saving with the older version.

With the arrival of the newer Ram 1500, you would think that it would come to replace the older Ram 1500 but instead of doing that, Ram decided to keep the older model around and stick on a Classic badge.

The Ram 1500 Classic will not be offered with fewer trim options. There is the Tradesman, Express, Big Horn and SSV for the law enforcement. While there are fewer trim options now, there are a few new packages for the customers to choose from. The Chrome Plus package will offer some upgrades to the Tradesman trim. There is also the Express Black Accent Package.

Under the hood is a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine and the 5.7 Hemi V8 engine. The EcoDiesel option will be added later on.
