2019 Porsche 911 Turbo Puts Acura NSX On High Alert

By  |

The Acura NSX and its 573 horses have been put on high alert as we have heard that the 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo with its 540 horses could be a hybrid next generation and it would rival the Acura.

The Porsche 911 RSR is a full-fledged racing vehicle with a mid-engine config and this could be adopted with the next generation. The next gen is said to be coming during the latter half of 2018 or 2019 and it will have a wider track than the version out now. It will still offer up rear-wheel drive but all-wheel drive is going to be an option.

We are not going to see a four-cylinder variation of the Porsche 911 RSR but this doesn’t matter as current turbocharged engines offer up superb combination when it comes to performance and efficiency.

The 2019 Porsche 911 turbo could come out as a plug-in hybrid vehicle and it has been said that it will offer up a range of 30 miles on electric. We have also heard that it will only be made available in automatic, which may be a downfall for those who got excited about the mid-engine 911.

But what are your thoughts on the 2019 Porsche 911 turbo, let us know in the comments.
