2019 Porsche 911 Speedster Won’t Stray Far From Concept

As part of their 70th-anniversary celebration, we got to see the new 911 Speedster concept and while we might still have to wait a little longer before we get to see the new production model, these new spy shots should give us a taste of what is to come.

Just like the concept, the new Porsche 911 Speedster will be borrowing its design cues from the 911 Carrera Cabriolet ad 911 GT3 but this time, the back will be fitted with a shorter windscreen similar to what the 356 1500 Speedster had in the past.

The carbon fiber rear cover will come with a double bubble design with a floating third brake light that will connect the two bumps. The concept was fitted with a flat six engine that could deliver about 500hp but we are not sure if the same engine would make its way to the production model or not.
