We are still some time away from the unveiling of the 2019 Peugeot 2008 but details of the upgrade have been making their way out. Here is what many believe will be offered when the 2019 Peugeot 2008 arrives.

The 2019 model will come riding on the Compact Modular Platform which Peugeot will be suing for the Peugeot 208 model as well. Thanks to that, it will now be longer and also lighter than the outgoing model.

Under the hood is a 1.2-liter PureTech petrol four engine that will be offering between 85hp to 130hp. Peugeot will also be offering a 1.5-liter BlueHDi diesel engine that will be offered to those looking to get a diesel option. The base model will be offered with the six-speed manual transmission while the higher trim models will be offered the eight-speed automatic.

There were also talks about the vehicle possibly coming with a hybrid engine option and maybe even an all-electric version. The 2019 model will be getting the all-new front fascia along with bespoke headlights and LED DRLs.
