2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Update Won’t Be Our Business

By  |

It is nice to know that the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will be getting some upgrades but if you are living anywhere outside of Japan, the upgrades won’t really matter for now. Here is what the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander for Japan will be getting.

According to Mitsubishi, the updated model will now be getting a 13.8kWh battery pack instead of the 12kWh battery pack that it was fitted with in the past. The bigger battery pack will mean that the Outlander PHEV will now be able to offer 40.4 miles of all-electric drive.

The rear electric motor will also be upgraded along with the engine. Instead of the 2.4-liter engine, they will be getting the 3.0-liter engine now. Other upgrades include the Sport and Snow modes.

Exterior upgrades include a full LED headlights with an updated grille and a new spoiler. No word on when all these updates will be coming our way.
