2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Update None Of Our Business?

By  |

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has a lot to offer now but that will be nothing compared to what Mitsubishi will be offering on the 2019 model.

According to Mitsubishi, they will be offering the Outlander PHEV with a 13.8kWh battery instead of a 12kWh battery. The upgrade will allow the vehicle to offer about 40.4 miles of all-electric driving range. With that upgrade, the Outlander PHEV will also be getting a 2.4-liter engine instead of the 3.0.

Other upgrades include the new Sport and Snow modes along with a few exterior upgrades like the full LED headlight, upgraded grille, new spoiler and so much more.

However, Mitsubishi has also announced that the upgrade will only be applied to the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in Japan only. No word on whether they plan to offer the same upgrades to the other markets or when we are going to see it happen. Let’s hope it will make it out of Japan soon.
