2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Playing It Safe This Time

When it comes to giving a model an upgrade, some automaker often take the risk and play around with the design and features which might or might not be a hit with the fans but Mitsubishi did the safer thing and decided to give the Outlander PHEV a power upgrade which will always be a hit with the consumers.

According to Mitsubishi, the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will be coming in with a 2.4-liter engine now that will be offering about 133hp. The previous engine only offered about 119hp. The engine will be paired with an electric motor that would now offer 93hp while the front electric motor will keep its 80hp.

Besides that, the damper settings for the Mitsubishi was revised so that the vehicle can offer a better low-speed ride now. There is also a new Sport driving mode that would help sharpens the throttle.

Mitsubishi also made some changes on the outside like the redesigned front grille, bumper and headlights. The rear was also fitted with a new bumper along with a huge roof spoiler. On the inside, the vehicle will be fitted with a few new features.

The base model will retail for £34,255.
