2019 Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 Will Have A Little More To Offer

By  |

Things were not looking too good for the Mercedes SLC model. With everything that Mercedes has planned with the special editions models and all, it does feel like they are pushing the SLC aside. This has led to many rumors about Mercedes looking to take the SLC out of their lineup but it looks like Mercedes is not ready to let it go yet.

Mercedes has just announced the upgrades that they will be giving the 2019 SLC 300 model that will be including the blind spot assist feature along with new techs like the Harmon/Kardon LOGIC7 sound system and ambient lighting system.

Powering the Mercedes SLC 300 will be the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be offering about 241hp and 273lb ft of torque right now. The engine will be paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission that will allow it to go from a standstill to 60mph in 5.8 seconds.

The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43, on the other hand, will be getting an upgraded engine that will be offering close to 385hp which is a little more than what the previous model was offering.

The AMG model will also be getting additional standard features like the dual-zone climate control system, active LED headlights with auto high beam assist and more.
