2019 Mazda MX-5: What’s New?

Mazda has taken the covers off their 2019 Mazda MX-5 model and here is what the 2019 will be offering when it arrives.

The 2019 Mazda MX-5 will be coming in with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that will be offering about 181hp and 151lb ft of torque. That means the vehicle will be 26hp more powerful than the previous model.

The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission but a six-speed auto transmission will be offered as an option. The MX-5 will come with standard features like the LED headlights and taillights, 7inch infotainment system, six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, two USB ports, leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry, multi-function steering wheel and more.

Those looking for more can also choose to add on the I-ActivSense Sport Package which will cost $850 and will come with additional features like Smart City Brake, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring and more.

The base model will retail for $25,730.
