2019 Mazda Miata: All You Need To Know

By  |

There were already talks about the 2019 Mazda Miata coming in with some performance upgrades and it looks like those speculations were true after all.

Mazda has just announced the 2019 Mazda Miata revealing that the 2019 model will now come with a 2.0 liter inline four engine that will be offering about 181hp and 151lb ft of torque. That means it will be offering 26hp more than the previous model and 3lb ft of torque more. While that might not sound like much, for a vehicle like the lightweight Mazda Miata, it should be enough to make the difference.

With the upgrade, the Mazda Miata should have no problem hitting 60mph from a standstill in under 7 seconds.

Besides the engine and performance update, the 2019 Mazda Miata steering wheel now telescopes. The doors are easier to open now and both the cupholder and seat levers have been updated. Customers will also get a new set of 17inch wheels and brown canvas soft tops.
