2019 Maserati Levante GTS: A Ferrari In Disguise

By  |

The Maserati Levante already has a V6 engine but it looks like Maserati’s engineers are still not satisfied as a group of them came together to fit a V8 engine from Ferrari into the Levante Quattroporte GTS model.

It ended up working out for them and now they were given the green to not only create one V8 powered Levante but two. The first was called the Levante Trofeo and it made its appearance at the New York Auto Show.

The other model is called the Levante GTS model which will make its debut at Goodwood. Here is what we know about the GTS so far. The GTS model will be coming in with the same 3.8-liter V8 engine but it will be offering 550hp and 538lb ft of torque instead. This would still allow the vehicle to go from 0-60mph in 4 seconds with a top speed of 181mph.

On the outside, the vehicle will be fitted with a larger lower air dam, special black-trimmed grille, a set of 22inch wheels and more.
