2019 Lexus UX: BMW Z1, Volvo XC40 Better Watch Out?

By  |

It looks like the Volvo XC40 and BMW X1 will now have another competitor to worry about as Lexus takes the cover off their Lexus UX model.

We did get to see the Lexus UX earlier this year but the vehicle was only going into production this fall. Sales will begin at the end of this year here in the US while the European market will have to wait until 2019 to get their hands on the vehicle.

Although it won’t be arriving in Europe this year, Lexus still wanted to keep the hype up by showing the vehicle off at the Paris Motor Show this year. The 2019 Lexus UX model will be coming in with a 2.0 liter inline four-pot engine that will be offering about 168hp and 205Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a CVT. There is also a hybrid version.

Features like the Apple CarPlay, Lane Tracing Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist and Pre-Collision System will be coming as standard features.
