2019 Land Rover Defender Late To Its Own Party

By  |

Land Rover has announced that they are working on a new Defender and we should be seeing it in a few years time but it looks like 4×4 fans won’t have to wait for Land Rover to release the Defender before they can own one because Ineos plans to release on much earlier than Land Rover.

According to Land Rover, the Land Rover Defender will be arriving in 2019 but they might want to speed things up as Ineou, the chemical firm has announced that they will be investing hundreds of million to make the new vehicle and release it in the UK.

Jim Ratcliffe, the Head of the Company announced that their 4X4 will match what the Defender has to offer and it will also be running on a diesel engine. If everything turns out well for Ineos, we might also see their 4×4 in the US and Africa as well.

Should Land Rover be afraid?
