By  |

Hyundai has finally revealed the electric range of their 2019 Hyundai Kona. If you were not impressed by it in the beginning, you will now.

According to Hyundai, the Hyundai Kona will be offering about 258miles of range which means the 2019 Hyundai Kona can go further than some of the top EV models in the market like the Chevrolet Bolt which offer about 238miles of range and Nissan Leaf which offers about 150miles of range.

The impressive range will be provided by the 64kWh lithium-ion battery that will allow the vehicle to have an output of 201hp and 291 lb-ft of torque. Once drained, the vehicle will only need 54 minutes to charge up to 80% with the Level 3 quick charger.

The 2019 Hyundai Kona will be coming to the US early next year and will be offered in California first. Details like the price is still a mystery but we should be learning more about it soon.
