Honda will be recalling some of their models after it was reported that some backup camera might not work due to bad software.

It was reported that the infotainment software bug would cause the screen to black out so the only thing the driver will see is the guidance lines. Those affected will get an infotainment software update to get the issue fix.

Models that will be affected by the recall include the 2018 Honda Accord and 2019 Honda Insight. A total of 225,885 models will be affected by the recall. Accord built before the 23rd August and Insights built before 22nd of August will be affected. Those built after will not be affected.

This is not the only recall that Honda has going on right now as the automaker also announced that they will be recalling 1.4 million units of their US cars to replace the Takata front passenger airbag inflators.
