The 2019 Honda CR-V arrive in Europe with a gasoline engine option but those looking for more will have another option to choose from now and Honda announce the new engine option for their 2019 Honda CR-V.

The Honda CR-V came with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine but now it will also be offered with a hybrid engine option. The Hybrid model will be powered by a 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine that will be mated to a direct transmission with a single fixed-gear ratio and lithium-ion battery pack. The engine will be delivering about 181hp and 232lb ft of torque.

Besides that, the CR-V will also come with the Multi-Mode Drive which will allow the vehicle to switch between three drive mode for better efficiency. The three modes include EV, Hybrid and Engine Drive.

Production will start in October this year with deliveries starting next year.
