2019 Honda Accord: Should Honda Take Ford’s Advice?

By  |

Ford was one of the first automakers to make it clear that they are going to focus more on crossovers and SUVs and offer fewer sedans. While there is no indication that Honda might do something that drastic anytime soon, some people are saying that it would happen eventually and it might start with the Honda Accord.

The Honda Accord was redesigned for 2018 and while people were generally happy with the new design and offering, the Honda Accord just did not sell as well as Honda was expecting it to.

Many believe that the popularity of crossovers and SUVs could be the reason for the poor sales. Since it was just given an update last year, the 2019 model will most likely remain the same. Honda is trying to get people to consider the Accord by offering a cut in lease price but is not enough?

Do you think that there is still a place for the Honda Accord in the market right now or do you think it is time for Honda to move on?
