2019 GMC Sierra Will Accompany Silverado Next Month

By  |

Since the GMC Sierra is basically the Silverado’s unidentical twin, everybody assumes that we will be seeing the 2019 GMC Sierra when GM shows off the Chevrolet Silverado at the Detroit Auto Show next year but it looks like that might not happen.

New reports from GM Authority suggest that the GMC Sierra will not be making an appearance at the Detroit Auto Show. The press conference schedule also seems to support that as it only shows Chevrolet’s presentation time.

Othe reports suggest that the Sierra will also be skipping the Chicago Auto Show which would suggest that GM might have something special planned for the truck. We know that the vehicle will be getting a redesign loosely based on the new Silverado but the rest is still a mystery for now.

Rumors have also suggested that the vehicle might be fitted with carbon-fiber reinforced thermo plastic beds to shed off a few extra pounds.
