2019 Ford Ranger XL: Starting To Aged Before Arriving?

By  |

It is nice to know that Ford finally wants to bring the Ford Ranger back and the new spy shots of the Ford Ranger XL model seems to show that the vehicle will be aiming for the commercial market as well but will that matters when nobody likes what it has to offer?

Spies managed to get a few shots of the chassis cab Ranger without a truck bed. The vehicle was not covered at all so we can clearly see what it has to offer. Looking at the black plastic bumper, grille, and plain silver steel wheels, this is definitely a bare-bones XL trim model but without the bed.

The stickers on the bed also suggest that these commercial models could be offered soon after the consumer Ranger model is release. This model should come with a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

While all of these is great news, some people are saying that the Ranger that Ford plans to bring into the US already looked dated is nothing close to what the other Ranger is offering.
