2019 Ford Ranger: There’s Nothing Special About Buyers In The US

By  |

At the Detroit Auto Show Ford revealed that they are about to bring back the Ford Ranger along with the Bronco to the US. The US used to have the Ranger but it’s been missing from the market since 2011, only available in other markets as a mid-sized truck.

Now people have been asking if the Ford Ranger that is heading back to the US is going to be different from the version that is offered in other markets. The product communications manager of Ford said that the 2019 Ford Ranger would be tailored to meet the needs of people in North America and it would come with some unique engines, features and styling at the front.

This doesn’t mean that there is anything special about buyers in the US though as it is not going to be a completely new design. What he meant was that the model was going to be new to the US market. So we believe that the current version of the T6 may be used as the base for the new North America version of the 2019 Ford Ranger.

So while it will be slightly tailored to meet the needs of US consumers, they are not going to receive any special treatment.
