While we are happy to know that Ford is currently working on a Ford Ranger Raptor, we are not happy that the US might not be a part of it all.

Ford has just announced that they will be selling the Ford Ranger Raptor in the US. According to Ford, the performance version of the Raptor would fit in well with their UK lineup since the Ranger is doing so well right now.

They did not announce the price but it is expected to come in with a $53k price tag when it arrives in the UK. The Raptor model will come in with a 2.0 liter twin-turbo diesel engine that will be offering about 210hp and 500Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and will come with six driving modes.

Besides the powertrain upgrade, the Raptor will also come with a stronger frame, bespoke suspension, and upgraded brakes. On the outside, customers will also find a bespoke grille, skid plate, flared wheel arches, aluminum alloy side steps and more.

Do you wish to see this in the US?
