2019 Ford Ranger: Engine News Won’t Sit Well With Fans

By  |

There is still a lot about the 2019 Ford Ranger that we do not know of but new leaked details and images should give us a rough idea of what to expect.

Spies spotted the Ford Ranger XL chassis cab out in the open and we got to see the bare frame and fuel tank. What it also had was the sticker that indicated that the vehicle will be powered by a 2.3 liter EcoBoost turbo four engine that will be mated to a 10-speed auto transmission.

While we are happy to know what Ford will be offering, the fans were not too happy with the news as they think that the turbo 4 is nowhere near what they think the Ford Ranger should be getting.

It was also reported that the Ford Ranger will be coming in with a 110V outlet, blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, automatic climate control, lane keeping assist, forward sensing system and more as standard.
