2019 Ford Ranger: Designed To Steal From F-150?

By  |

The upcoming 2019 Ford Ranger has been stealing the looks of the Ford F-150 and as it is going to have similar looks there is worry that it could take some of the sales away from the bigger truck.

The mid-sized pickup truck segment has been booming and so the 2019 Ford Ranger should do well on the market. We recently saw the Ranger in testing out on the roads in Michigan. While it was camouflaged you could see that the truck does come with looks that are very much like those of the F-150.

Ford has been relatively quiet about the details of the Ford Ranger ever since they gave confirmation that they were planning to bring it back. We have heard that the truck may get the four-cylinder and six-cylinder EcoBoost engines of Ford and these should come with the 10 speed automatic transmission.

The styling of the 2019 Ford Ranger is much like the Ford F-150 and the Super Duty. We haven’t seen the Ranger on the road since 2011 in the US, however it has been sold globally. The production of the Ranger is said to begin in late 2018 and it should be offered in dealers in 2019.
