2019 Ford Mustang Won’t Leave Hellcat Alone

By  |

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat got to enjoy all the engine when it came it with its huge 707hp engine but they will have to share the spotlight now what Ford is almost ready with their Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 model.

According to the latest rumour, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be coming in with an engine that will be delivering more than 700hp when it arrives. Ford did confirm that they are working on a more powerful Ford Mustang but they have not revealed much about the vehicle.

Car and Driver added that the vehicle would be powered by a 5.2-liter V8 engine that will be mated to a six sped manual transmission. Those looking for an auto option will be offered the new 10-speed auto transmission. Based on the spy shots that we have been seeing, the looks like the powerful Mustang will not be adopting the new designs from Ford but will keep the older design instead.

Do you think Ford has what it takes to take on Dodge and their Challenger Hellcat?
