Mustang fans have always dreamed of the day when the Ford Mustang would hit the 200mph mark. While that seems impossible in the past, it looks like their dream might actually come true this time around.

According to The Truth About Cars, leaked new details about the 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 suggested that the vehicle’s speedometer might climb all the way to 214mph.

If that is true, the GT500 will have a significant advantage over their rivals. Other leaked document suggests that the vehicle will come with a few driving modes including a Drag Strip setting and a Launch Control function. It also suggests that Ford will be removing the Track and Snow mode this time.

The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 could also be powered by a new 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine this time around. Other options include the 2.3 liters EcoBoost four-cylinder engine as well as the 5.0-liter V8 engine.
